KINGSTON, Jamaica — Utility player Damion Lowe returns to the starting team as the Reggae Boyz face Ecuador in their Copa America Group B game Group B game at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday.

Lowe, who was a second half substitute in Saturday’s opening game 1-0 loss against Mexico in Houston, Texas, is the only change and will replace winger Demarai Gray in Heimir Hallgrimsson’s starting team as the Caribbean team seeks to end a seven-game drought in the competition.

Lowe, who will take over the captain’s armband, is expected to line up in the midfield, alongside Bobby Reid and Kasey Palmer.

Today’s game will be the fifth meeting between the teams but the first ‘official’ game as both seek to rebound from losses last week as Ecuador gave up a 1-0 lead and went down 2-1 to Venezuela.

Starting XI:

Jamali Waite, Greg Leigh, Damion Lowe, Di’Shon Bernard, Ethan Pinnock, Dexter Lembikisa, Joel Latibeaudiere, Bobby Reid, Kasey Palmer, Michail Antonio, Shamar Nicholson

-Paul A Reid
