#EyeOnBeryl: NWA opens Emergency Operations Centre

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Works Agency (NWA) has opened its Emergency Operations Centre as part of its response to the likely impact of Hurricane Beryl on the island’s road network.

Manager of Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw said the centre was operationalised at 7:00 am Wednesday and will be manned on a 24-hour basis.

Persons are being advised to call the centre where issues arise regarding the accessibility of the road network relating to Hurricane Beryl.
