PORTLAND, Jamaica — As Hurricane Beryl impacts Portland, the Manchioneal Police Station has been temporarily relocated to Manchioneal All Age School, along with the Haitians previously in custody.

Meanwhile, approximately 129 people were placed in 13 shelters across the parish on Wednesday morning. This number includes 82 adults and 47 children.

Several shelters are accommodating elderly residents, although some are currently without electricity.
