KINGSTON, Jamaica — Normal operations of Government ministries, departments and agencies are to resume on Thursday following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

Public sector workers are also expected to return to work today. Recognising that some employees may have been adversely affected by the storm, the government is advising that persons who are facing challenges in the aftermath of the hurricane reach out to their respective supervisors.

The announcement was made in a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister on Thursday morning. A Hurricane Warning, which was in effect for Jamaica since Tuesday, has been discontinued as Beryl moves further away from the island.
