ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The National Works Agency (NWA) is reporting that the road through the Bog Walk Gorge, St Catherine is now impassable due to a landslide near Kent Village.
Downed power lines are, however, impacting the agency’s ability to safely respond and have the road reopened, the NWA says, adding that it has sought the assistance of the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS )with addressing that issue.
In the meantime, motorists are being advised to exercise caution in the area and to use alternative routes where possible.
