‘Nerd’ charged for alleged house break-in, larceny

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — The police have arrested and charged a man who allegedly broke into a house in Pepper district, St Elizabeth and stole approximately $500,000 on Monday.

He is 26-year-old Marlon Reid, otherwise called ‘Nerd’, a mechanic of the community. Reid is charged with house breaking and larceny.

Reports indicate that about 5:21 pm, Reid allegedly broke into a house and stole $500,000. A report was made and an investigation launched.

Reid was reportedly seen on surveillance footage and was later arrested and charged. His court date is being arranged.
