Gas prices up $1.88, diesel up $0.25

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, April 24, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.

With both grades of gasoline up by $1.88, 90-octane will be sold for $157.49 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $151.46 per litre.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $152.69 per litre after an increase of $0.25 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $158.65 per litre up by $0.98.

Kerosene is down by $1.27 and will be sold for $139.05 per litre.

Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $66.41 per litre up by $1.85 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $73.41 per litre down by $0.86.

Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective markup to these prices.
