The school's principal, Carla Ruddock, said the entire compound was flooded and the Jamaica Fire Brigade had to be called in to assist in evacuating students.
The principal also stated it is unclear when classes will resume. Debris and mud can be seen on the compound and in the classrooms.
Ms Ruddock said a full assessment will have to be done before a decision is made.
Records at Port Maria Primary School were also destroyed during the heavy rainfall which flooded the institution.
