Dancehall artiste Skillibeng earns his first gold-certified single as Jump, a collaboration with South African singer Tyla and American rapper Gunna.

Jump, which is featured on Tyla’s self-titled debut album, was on July 2 certified gold in Canada for sales and streaming equivalent exceeding 40,000 units.

The certification was issued by Music Canada.

During Tyla’s visit to Jamaica in October 2023, she relistened to the song and felt it needed a Jamaican sound and informed her team to contact Skillibeng for a feature.

Jump has been doing well on several global charts including the UK Singles chart, Greece, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, Nigeria and Switzerland. It peaked at #87 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 chart.

Currently, Jump is riding multiple Billboard charts. It has re-entered Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs at #46, while moving up to #9 on World Digital Song Sales chart.

Jump falls on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay from #33 to #37, while on Hot R&B Songs it inches down from #7 to #8. Over on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Jump improves from #29 to #28. On the Rhythmic Top 40 Airplay, Jump remains at #19.

During Sunday night’s telecast of the BET Awards, Tyla performed Jump alongside Gunna and Skillibeng.
