KINGSTON, Jamaica – Five persons were shot and killed at a football match held in the community of Rockfort in east Kingston on Monday evening.
The Constabulary Communication Unit, the information arm of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, confirmed the incident but had no details.
“Seven persons were shot and five people were killed,” Superintendent Tommielee Chambers, who is in charge of the Kingston Eastern division, told Observer Online.
