TRELAWNY, Jamaica – Members of the Jamaica Fire Brigade and the Jamaica Constabulary Force are now feverishly trying to remove a truck, laden with animal feed, from a motorcar on which it overturned in Albert Town, Trelawny, Friday afternoon.
It is not clear if there are any casualties.
A senior police officer, who spoke to Observer Online, is fearful that if there were occupants of the car they might be crushed to death.
“We are not sure if the car was parked or it was driving. We fear that if the car was driving at the time of the accident there might be casualties,” the cop said.
Observer Online was told that the accident occurred after 2:00 pm.
Three people have died as a result of injuries sustained in accidents in the parish since the start of the year.
An investigation is ongoing.
