Well after the release of his collaboration with Kiprich, Flippa Moggela has seen the music video for his track Benz Pon Benz soar to the top of the US iTunes Music Video Chart.
Debuting at #1, the video’s performance far exceeded expectations.
“It’s a great feeling,” said the Philadelphia, US-based artiste and producer.
“I felt great because it’s been a while since I’ve had a #1,” he said.
By this Flippa Moggela is referring to his first #1 hit on iTunes last year. His 2024 Wah Gwaan Bout Yah Man track secured him this top spot on the US iTunes Reggae Singles Chart. Now, with the music video for Benz Pon Benz knocking off the likes of Elephant Man from the top spot, after dropping to 9th, he is happy to have had a true friend in the business lend his vocals to the track.
“I had to record it with Kiprich because we grew up together in Jamaica and he was the first artiste to embrace me when I came home two years ago,” Flippa expressed. “Kiprich is just as excited, especially because we really worked hard on this track.”
As the title suggests, Benz Pon Benz is about living a lavish lifestyle and the music video portrays that to the core with scenes enjoying the finer things in life.
