GenXS carnival’s road parade got going minutes after 9 am Sunday with a bevy of masqueraders strutting along Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston.
The parade will make it’s way along Knutsford Boulevard then onto Trafalgar Road before making it’s way back to Knutsford Boulevard.
This year there are approximately 3,000 masqueraders, a 100 per cent increase compared to the 1,500 participants in the band’s initial foray into the local carnival scene three years ago.
