Jamaica is not on a continent, it is an island surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. Politically, it is usually grouped with Latin America but we don’t have anything in common with Latin America. So, many will say Jamaica is in the continent of North America because the Caribbean is considered to be a sub-region of North America though not a part of the mainland.
