Westmoreland Bartender Charged with Murder

WESTMORELAND BARTENDER CHARGED WITH MURDER

Twenty-five-year-old Safiya Peart, a bartender of Ricketts River, Frome, Westmoreland has been charged with Murder following an incident that occurred at her home on Tuesday, October 29.

Dead is 23-year-old Deno Kangol of Ricketts River Frome Westmoreland.

Reports are that at about 10:40 a.m., Peart and Kangol who were in a relationship had a dispute during which both parties brandished knives. Peart received a small wound to her left hand and Kongol who received a stab wound to his shoulder collapsed. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Peart was later arrested and charged.

Her court date is being arranged.
