In an attempt to successfully add to their plethora of chart topping hits, Levels To Life Production decided to collaborate with dancehall artiste Lisa Hyper for their latest release,
Soul Cry.

The single was released in conjunction with Foreigners Invasion Music to kick-start 2025 and has since gone viral on creator platforms.

Presented as a thought-provoking single, it covers a topic that resonates with various cultures worldwide.

Soul Cry has already earned its place as a hit. It peaked on the US reggae charts at #2 behind the #1 song,
Str8 Vybz, by Vybz Kartel, and has since been receiving rave reviews.

The official video also made its way to the top of the Reggae iTunes Video Charts. It has also entered the iTunes All Genre Charts in Barbados, peaking at #5, and in the US at #12 while being actively curated in several additional countries.

Donald Barnett of Levels To Life shares how the collaboration came about.

“I had to reach out to Lisa Hyper because of a song she recorded for Lexzona Muzik. That project stood out to me. After calling her, she sent me Soul Cry as an a cappella. I then built the beat around it and I felt like that’s one of the components that makes the track such a deep one, because each piece of the beat was made for each line she wrote.”

In the track, Lisa Hyper shares: “Dem try afta mi not once but four time, ay is a good thing seh mi did know Christ, nah talk wid no spinnaz or nuh 4, 5, still mi fight nonstop all mi soul cry, yow. Too coward fi face mi suh dem try use spiritual battle erase mi, try fearless full up a bravery, stay inna mi Psalm 91 neva fail mi.”

For her part, the artiste said: “Soul Cry was created from experience. I’m introducing my fans to my vulnerable side. I am happy with the reception the track has been getting, but I’m sad at the same time to know that so many people have faced the same spiritual battles.”

She continued: “Working with Levels To Life and Foreigners Invasion was a great experience and I am pleased with the work their teams have put in on this track, it has been making waves since day one of its release. This is the start of many more impactful projects to come.”

With the current success, Levels To Life and Lisa Hyper have already begun engineering a follow-up track alongside other impending releases from artistes such as Denyque, Kash Promise Move, Charley Black, and Chronic Law.
