Engineer Facing Gun-Related Charges

ENGINEER FACING GUN-RELATED CHARGES

Assault at Common Law and Using a Firearm to Commit a Felony are the charges that have been laid against a licensed firearm holder following an incident at Beach Club, White House, Westmoreland, on Sunday, April 13.

Charged is 47-year-old Richard Elliot, engineer of Mandeville, Manchester.

Reports from the White House Police are that at about 12:30 p.m., Elliot and a man were involved in an argument during which he forcibly pushed him, pulled his Glock pistol from his waistband, and pointed it at him.

A report of the incident was made to the police, and Elliot was arrested after turning himself in on Monday, April 14.

His court date is being finalised.
