ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica– Three people have been arrested in connection with the seizure of several containers of bulk rum during a targeted operation in the Siloah Housing Scheme in St Elizabeth on Friday, April 25.
Reports are that at approximately 5:00 am, a specialised team of police officers from the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) conducted a targeted operation in the Siloah Housing Scheme, which resulted in the seizure of several containers of bulk rum.
The lawmen reportedly executed search warrants at two separate residential premises, resulting in a total of 55 gallons of rum being confiscated.
The identity of the three people arrested have not been revealed.
The police says it is continuing its investigation into the matter.
